I APOLOGIZE IN ADVANCE FOR ANY TYPOS BECAUSE I AM TOO TIRED RITE NOW TO PROOF READ THIS POST BUT ANY WAYS.... ENJOY!!!!

this is a river in talca and there are horses in the riverbanks just chilling... deff really different but they are not rabid or anything but i think my host parents were trying to explain to me that they are just stray....
here are those horses on the side of the riverbanks
this is a pic of the road in front of my house... it seems like here everything is disorganized and people just drive crazy and have no idea what they are doin.. oh and btw the roads are really dirty... u cant really c in this pic but yea...
this is a pic of a hair salon... but the difference is that here in chile in front of almost every house or small building u see there is a gate or some form of barricade to keep robbers away i guess... its very different.... oh and no clue about the blueness or underlineness lol

this is a pic of another common or park that we walked to and u can c that a stray dog is just chillin on the grass sleeping...it is very normal to dogs like this all over... including in the road!

this is my bed and i have no idea why this writing is underlined and blue... but thats kewl i guess
this is the floor that i keep slipping on!!! sry for those of u who dont know what im talking about but... the floors are really slippery for some reason haha
this was the sign that my family was holding when i met them in the airport
this is a picture of some plants across the street from my house... the stairs next to the plants lead to a sidewalk on the side of the road and this morning Alan and I went to the store to get some Coke and we went up those stairs... haha what a great story lol oh and btw... they drink coke down here like its going outta style....
this is a pic of my host mother and me at a park type thing.... all the way to the left is a black spec which is really a horse.. yea they pretty much just roam around everywhere... pretty different...

more Andes!!!! they are sooo pretty and i cant wait to go snowboarding!! woo hooo

these are the Andes!!!! they are intense and very pretty

sorry that u have to tilt ur head.... but the women in the red is my mom's mom and this is my abuelita's (grandma's) house

I have no idea what this says... or what it means.. but i thought it was sooo cool and pretty
This was my first veiw of the Andes from the plane... they are amazing... some of them have snow on them but this patch that i happen to take a picture of did not have snow on them.... but this was basically my first view of chile....my first day in chile...lets just say.... i will never forget it! our plane was an hour late to begin with because there was too much fog... sooo we circled around the airport for an hour or sooooo.... during this whole time the captian kept saying well... if the fog doesnt lift we may have to land in an alternative airport and all of us rotary kids were freaking out because we would not have our luggage and our families would be at a different airport.... to put a long story short everything worked out fine and we landed in the right airport... only we were an hour late.... we got our luggage and met our host families they were waiting in the window and my family had a sign that said "WELCOME ELAINA!!!" as soon as we looked up all the parents started waving and jumping up and down it was pretty nice and made me feel at home... kinda.....haha the rest of the day we went to my host family's relatives on our way back to Talca... there is such a bad stereotype about americans because they would not stop feeding me and i have never been that full in my entire life!!! but it was fun meeting all the people.. even tho i had no idea what any of them were saying...
that was yesterday... so today i woke up at about 9:30 and took a shower... which was pretty much the same as in the USA... then i went with Alan to get some water and Coke from the store... which was kinda cool because it was my first time walking around the city since i had been here... i tried to pay attention to how he got there so i could walk back there by myself but i soon forgot and also later on in the day i was informed that i was not really allowed to walk around by myself.. not because of Rotary rules or anything but because it was not safe...later in the day we went to the center of the city and walked around and i saw the vendors on the sides of the streets and we went into a store that was similar to target.. it had clothes, furniture, dishes, shoes, computers, and a ton of other stuff... then we went to the grocery store and bought some stuff... my host father was trying to explain to me how much things cost and it was kinda hard to understand because they use the metric system but i got an idea of how much things cost and for seven apples in only costs about 1 US dollar... which is really cheap soo that was kinda neat.... then we came home and tonite... friends of Danae.. my host family's daughter came over and we talked with them for a while... and now i am ready for bed!!! it is 12:45... sooo i guess thats all for now
thanks for checkin it out!!!
peace
